When Tess Hall dropped by the RSPCA’s Newbrook Farm Animal Centre, at Frankley Green, near Birmingham, she got a lot more than she bargained for when she came across former professional footballer, now TV pundit Chris Kamara.
No sooner had the quick thinking owner of Animals at Home, East Birmingham, whipped out her phone and snapped a ‘selfie’ with him, when singer and TV presenter Peter Andre came around the corner of the animal hospital. “I was surprised to see Chris Kamara and then even more surprised when Peter Andre appeared too.
They were both really nice and happy to pose for a picture with me. Tess was at the centre to pick up a client’s dog that had died when she met the two celebrities. They had just finished a day of filming for the six-part ITV show Give A Pet A Home, which began last month. Tess added: “I was at the Animals Centre for a sad occasion but it really brightened the end of my day to meet Chis and Peter”.
